I was always so curious how things went together and wanted to figure out how to take them apart. My mom bought me a brand new bike when I was 8 years old. First thing I decided to do was use a butter knife and pliers to take it apart. My mom was not very happy with me. I am glad to say I managed to put it back together and road it for many years after.
Growing up, I would always tell people I was going to be a mechanic. When I chose to go to ARC for Automotive Technology I knew I made the best choice for me. I got my first job in the automotive world at an auto parts store. This is when I first heard the term "mobile mechanic" and I knew right there, that was the life for me.
Girlcanic is proud to say we are not like the other guys. I hold myself and my business to a high standard of honesty, integrity and fairness. I am as loyal to my customers as they are to me. I plan to keep getting better every day. As my mom would say, "Never stop learning."
